Do you have a child with autism who could benefit from weekly counseling services?
Do you have challenges in your daily life when parenting your child with autism?
Does your child who has a sibling with autism ask questions that are difficult to answer?
At the Wisconsin Early Autism Project, we recognize that children and families with autism may require support as they navigate their way through the school years. Counseling can guide your child with autism through complex social situations (bullying, peer group issues); support self-esteem (body/self-image); help with self-regulation (oppositional behaviors, ADHD); as well as assist with challenging family dynamics (communication, separation/divorce, grief). Adolescents and adults with autism can benefit from counseling services to address anxiety, organizational skills, challenges in relationships, and other struggles related to being an individual on the autism spectrum. In addition, counseling can provide support to parents and siblings whose daily lives are affected
by the challenges of autism. We work with children, adolescents, adults and families affected with autism across the lifespan.
Our team of licensed clinicians provides individual and family counseling to address a variety of psychosocial challenges (depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, divorce, parent-child communication). Our therapists use a variety of evidence-based, cognitive-behavioral strategies to meet the needs and goals of their clients. Taking time to discuss concerns and develop individualized strategies for you and your family can make a difference that benefits everyone in your family.
